Here (to my eye) the underside appears polished, and is reflecting the texture of the dial as well as inner portion of the minute track. What a nice little surprise to see. ...

I think we need to include the Grand seiko also. I've seen some close-up pictures of the dials and hands of Grand Seiko, and they are amazing. Undoubtedly can be compared to the swiss.

I love those Traditionelle hands! They are not only distinctive and perfectly executed, they also greatly enhance legibility of the time in different lighting conditions. And those colorful Speedy hands.. just put a smile on your face 😄 HAGWE Daniel
