Quartz Is OK Sometimes

I have a quartz GS purchased in 2017 (SBGV207). Purchased on a whim at the NYC boutique - had no idea that GS was there by my hotel, and was *not* looking for GS. But after seeing the storefront, naturally I thought I'd better go in and take a look.

This is how we lighten our wallets - just meant to have a look...

I never wore this quartz GS much, and when the battery died the watch went to the back of the drawer for a couple years. BUT, recently the watch caught my eye and so I ordered a new battery, changed it out, and now it's running again and has moved closer to the front of the drawer.

Some say only mechanicals have heart, and I won't disagree. But man, the quartz GS models have a certain dose of perfection to them, are darn convenient, and may even spark a bit of joy..
