Horological Meandering

I was thinking back to a time 15+ years ago when I would religiously visit SteveG's Watch Launchpad to drool over his photos, read his pithy reviews and observations, and then try to talk myself out of buying watches that I knew were in my destiny. In par... 

I spent much time there as well. Terrific photos of an excellent diversity of watches. True connoisseur choices at a time when many of them were not market-driven hot commodities. Thanks, Steve G (and CR for the reminder)! John

Each photo lets his passion shine and his photographic skills make each ruby really transparent, each gilded bridge litterally shine... I am thankful and have much respect for his sharing of his passion It is quite the opposite of much horology-related me... 

But I still find the launchpad to be a really fabulous source.

I still, to this day, use his site has a reference. He had stuff way, way before most knew it existed. The guy knows watches. Like REALLY knows watches.

I remember ogling the Chopard 1.96 as well, but I was in my 20s back then!

Now roughly 10 years later the issue isn’t monetary, it is being able to find one! Best of luck if you’re searching for one too
