i assume this is not a genuine military issue, rather an homage to military wristwatches? On the website they offer for sale for a very reasonable price what seems to be new watches with military markings.

Year is 2019....

... consequently not issued. Last issued year for the RN300 is 2000 Yours is a 1983 reissued ... meaning homage with the former 83 RN300 specs CWC could be troubling indeed ^^

This is a screenshot from their webstore today. It looks like they sell watches with broad arrow and “military markings” that have never been issued. In my book that is not right. But I assume there are vintages watches of the same brand that actually hav...

Two different things indeed .

CWC have a proud history of supplying the military. As you know they make very tough and reliable watches. This is one of my CWC’s owned by a Harrier Pilot who flew in the Falklands war. ...

Issued chronograph too, 1974 ;)

I do prefer my sterile Hamilton from 1973 though. Both are Royal Navy issued ...

Very interesting watches...

...I have a 99 like yours, a 92 CWC SBS-issued diver with SBS papers of the owner (he was SAS but did a tour with SBS), an 88 and 93 Precista diver, Seiko Gen 1 and 2 -- all quartz and I love them! That said, I just cheated on the CWC quartz theme by pick...
