Don't even think about going to dealers or watch traders. You will get much less of what you could get selling it on your own. I do not know what Pateks do you have but you shouldnt have any problem selling it if your price is right. If you want to qick s...

I once went to dealer to see if they were interested in a piece, they offered me $14,500. I sold it privately for $21,000 two weeks later. Never been back to a dealer to sell a watch since. NickO

Than the dealer puts it up for sale for 25000 easily. In my opinion with brands like Patek and Rolex there is no problem with selling it. There is always high damand for them and the prices are not much lower in comparison to retail. If one sets the price... 

Dealers are a losing bet. Selling yourself takes care, caution, clear-thinking, and time.

Pateks should go pretty quickly. Selling on the for sale section of this site or other watch forums is very possible but sell smart.

You know enough to know where the real prices are for your watches.

You know too that for a quick sale, quick cash to you, then a dealer is the route to go. You also know that any dealer you speak to will want to build enough cushion for them to be "safe". You know your "fair value" for the watches, the dealer will provid...
