Makes sense to me, but it might not make sense to Richemont...

A JLC Mark 11 reissue would be awesome! But it would be pretty directly stepping on IWC's toes, and their mutual owners might not like that.

A brainstorm, or just crazy???

I was wondering how well received a pilot's watch from JLC would be. Nothing fancy, just maybe 30-40 mm,maybe even 36mm, no date and Arabic markers with good lume. Something similar to (do I dare say) Hamilton, Sinn and IWC.

I doubt it... I’m thinking about the movement aesthetics when I say that. You could also say some of the newly introduced aesthetics with luminous dials ect are breaking the somewhat rigid mould of what a Lange watch is.

Why not just get a JLC Mark 11?

It's everything you're asking for and it pre-dates Sinn and Hamilton pilot watches and is a peer of IWC's own Mark 11 (as they both fulfilled the MoD's Mark 11 spec), but much more rare. ...

Yep!!! [nt]
