A dilemma arose. Like both, but you need to choose only one: the practicality of antimagnetic caliber or dead second. What to add to the collection?

Still Omega for me

I find the Omega's case to be rather inelegant compared to the JLC's case.

Do not prefer the date on the JLC. But the real deal-breaker is the Omega's short hour hand. I would definitely go JLC in this case. The dead seconds complication and the nicely decorated movement is a good bonus.

I am on the fence w the Omega tiny hands... even though they are true to history... they look too small here... and I generally don't like Omega's advertising w celebrities, etc... feels very phony to me... but who can argue w Omega in general? Not sure w... 

Seeing your arguments, are you sure the JLC is not antimagnetic enough?

Between the two, JLC without a doubt. I have often been tempted by Omega but I have always been scared of ending up being bored with one. They are rather common as well (although not this model), and for me this is also a no-go. Good luck in your hunt! Be...
