Their listings also encourage buyers to make offers through a copy and paste link instead of the normal eBay system. Not sure if eBay's buyer protection would apply there. LOL!

The only time I heard them was at CES about thirty years ago . . .
. . . and those were the VAC reissues, although they were nearly perfect copies of the originals, down to the transformer potting fluid which was supposedly found in a Marantz warehouse. Can you imagine what they'd sound like with Gold Lion KT77's? 🎧

Here's an update: the scammer's offerings were taken down a few days after this thread was posted . . .
. . . and then they reappeared on eBay UK, where they similarly disappeared the following day. Sometimes, good guys win.
