Interesting variation... but?

The sapphire HM3 HMX is a nice variation. But IMHO does not bring anything fresh to the table.
Sapphire cases are indeed difficult to make, but much water has flown under the bridge for it to be considered a major achievement. Richard Mille and others including Hublot have repeatedly done that before.
The change in the rotor (Megawind) is perhaps a mix of cosmetic and winding efficiency.
Date indication around the movement, found in the earlier HM3 is altogether removed from the HM3 X. Taking away a useful functionality seems pointless.
The price ... more than doubled at USD 138K excl taxes!! Perhaps the past owners of HM3 can take comfort that they got in early and at lower prices.
But I am not sure if MB&F is taking the right path with the tweaked-LE approach. I do hope they will not go into that rabbit hole.
Cheers
