I would go JLC.
The Rolex is more rugged but the JLC is more refined and has a better movement.

if you want something that everyone will know then go for Rolex...if the preference is to stay low key JLC. Of course strap vs bracelet can be a deciding factor too! Best, Mahesh.,
For me the bracelet is the deciding factor
If steel go Rolex, if leather go JLC. Both will be great daily companions, Alex
