You love it or hate it but you can’t ignore it…

Is it really a horological marvel, may be ‘NO’ but then it is driven by calibre 8971MC actually otherwise known as JLC Caliber 846 ! But the essence of this watch is its powerful design – so quirky it stands the test of times since 1967 ….as the title say...

Lovely photos Mahesh!

And thank you for post! Many may argue that the Tank is THE Cartier but for me, the Crash is the ultimate Cartier. It stands out like no other watch and it stands out in a nice way. The watch is not about the movement but more about a masterpiece in desig...

Thanks Sham...

Now kudos to anyone who wears a crash as a daily watch. More likely number 10 or more in a collection but definitely a great choice

Great pictures

Somehow I find the shape intriguing Can not decide if I hate it or love it. I belief that will also depend on how it looks on ones wrist. This shape might be more impacted by wrist size than other watches (I.e. woman with fine small wrist can still easily...

Love this piece

Is this the London boutique edition?

 By: kauzal : January 19th, 2020-06:49
I ask only because I thought that the boutique edition did not have the secret signature at 7 o’clock whereas it is clearly present here (except in the picture that compares it with the original). Either way, it is a terrific watch.

Thank you & yes it is the London boutique edition...

i read about the secret signature too but i don't know why this difference...i see some pics in insta which don't have the secret signature too !

Fabulous Cartier, enjoy!

I hope to own one in the near future too. Although I have not enquired about the waitlist, I assume a 2+ year wait is inevitable given the limited production. Congratulations again and hoping to see more photos!

Absolutely. [nt]

Dali's masterpiece comes immediately to mind . . .

. . . whenever an image of this Cartier comes across my screen. How . . . . . . could it not? ...

That's the one. [nt]

 By: Brandon Skinner : January 19th, 2020-12:36
But I'm glad it exists!

equally others will have the same doubt seeing your wrist ;-)

 By: mahesh : January 20th, 2020-00:29
the design is quirky, absolutely not to everyone's taste !

It's a really cool watch, new Mod!!

 By: TheMadDruid : January 20th, 2020-07:56
Don't know when, or if, I'd ever wear it so it would never make it to my collection. Nice review of an idiosyncratic piece. Actually, may be, if I could get the one that says "London" on it...

And Mahesh...

 By: TheMadDruid : January 20th, 2020-07:59
make those guys add your name to the TEAM.

thanks Padj, it is unusual so i'm still figuring out when to wear it !

White metal would have helped versatility but YG has a 'vintage aura' to it... check out this link...interesting info ! checkitout65.wixsite.com

Yeah, I’ve read that before.

The Crash has an interesting history. As does Cartier in the 20th Century.

So good to see this Crash on your wrist!
