I think the important of the watch line for fashion or luxury groups is very small
this is shown by Kering recent sale of UN/GP to the management. Watches, beside fashion ones, are not such a scalable business. This @ Chanel or @ Montlblanc is a side project with a few insiders that push it forward. If it becomes too much (clients unhappy about service, production issues etc.) they will just kill a watch line as it is non-core to what they do. I would handle all these purchases with care. Of course one could broaden his horizons with a lot of good independent watch companies (e.g. Moser which has also some well priced Tourbillons) without having to dig into fashion groups.

But in line with jumping hour watches and having retrograde. Although if they wanted to drive people to be interested in their higher end watches maybe a price break would lure people.

If it was $25,000 - $30,000 it would be difficult to ignore this watch. At that price point, however, I will put my dollars elsewhere. Still, it is a beautiful watch.
