Butler is struggling and Stokes is going well but the captaincy just might ruin his good form with the extra pressure? Who do you pick as captain instead of Root?

The captaincy seems to really weigh him down and affect his performance. Overall, good effort from England with Butler finding form again. Denly was looking good too. Aussies will be really up against it

I hope England doesn't fall into the trap of valuing results more than performance. OK, so they've drawn the series, but the Aussies have out-performed them in every area. England needs to
remember, too, that their draw is actually a defeat, because … the Aussies still have the Ashes!
