... consider the look you want. I didn't want the polished end tubes (or any end tubes) because I felt like they called too much attention to the bracelet. I wanted the bracelet to be incidental, which meant no end tubes and being able to see the springbars through the bracelet. I felt like that look went well with the transparent nature of the dial. That look came from a much less expensive (but still very well made) shark mesh bracelet, $40 USD I believe.

Ones i had a watch of my brother with Milanese. I remember it as i hated it. But the watch was so nice, i wear the watch with Milanese. Hurt, but great looking.

For a diver you may want to check strapcode, I have been very happy with their sharkmesh on my searambler. The machined clasp is a lot better than the typical stamped stuff. Sure for 100 bucks I had to adjust a few sharp edges myself but it's one of my fa...  

Staib is great quality. I believe they make straps for high end brands.
