I think think the palladium is the best LM101 ever made, and I like the sub dials.

MB&F X H. Moser Collaboration Timepieces

 By: patrick_y : June 3rd, 2020-15:19
MB&F is one of my all time favorite independent watch brands. Max Busser & Friends was started by Max Busser, the former CEO of Harry Winston’s Rare Timepieces and the brainchild of the “OPUS” line of specialty watches where Harry Winston collabor...

Nice but...

I just cannot imagine my facial expression when I swing my arm and hit it against the wall or door frame etc for the Tourbillon, ouch!

Imagine my fears when I borrow these watches!

I'm being super careful with this baby! Thankfully, I'm a naturally careful person to begin with!

Luckily (or sadly) for some time you will be in the elevator with your own self or perhaps ONE person

There won't be a crowd to push you into the door frame or bump you against the wall. Mike

Simply WOW [nt]

Great collab!

The LM101s look terrific and get rid of a couple of the details I disliked on the original like the MB&F logo and the "legacy machine" text.

What a superb watch and review

Very exciting project

Great review and write up Patrick!

I kinda miss the lacquer dials of the LM101 although the fume dials are not too bad. I had a Moser fume dial once which was highly attractive but the novelty ran out after a few months. Maybe it is just old fashioned me who would always prefer a more clas...

It is difficult to stay in love with a watch if they're too thick!

 By: patrick_y : June 3rd, 2020-19:41
I remember a Zeitwerk that I thought I'd love, but then realized it was too thick and constricting to wear. What a watch though!

We think alike Patrick! :-)

and our small wrists do not help when it comes to thick watches. The LM range are lovely to look at though. less lovely to wear on a daily basis.

Indeed! Thin watches prevail!

I'm going to be testing out that highly domed tourbillon for a few days.

Good luck!!

I was at the M.A.D. Gallery in January and even after a few seconds, I felt 19mm was suicidal!!

Great news! [nt]

One day

I want also have a H Moser and Cie into my collection one day.

Thank you! I think it's two very cool brands and I'm liking what I see. Check back in for the LIVE REVIEW of the Tourbillon piece, starting in less than 24 hours.

 By: patrick_y : June 4th, 2020-02:10
You will be able to ask me questions about the Tourbillon piece as I'm actively wearing it and borrowing it.

Hi, thank you for the invitation, but...

... while I think it‘s an interesting collaboration, these are not the right timepieces for me. I just don‘t see myself wearing these and I‘m in general not interested in tourbillon timepieces. But I like the idea of live reviews. Maybe next time

Sounds good!

These pieces are definitely designed to appeal to a very small niche of watch collectors! Not everyone likes every watch ever made! I certainly don't like every watch on the market!

I really love these two collaboration watches a lot

Best of both worlds imho . Can’t wait to see them in person but think they will be long sold out by then

I think they will sell out fairly quickly...

 By: patrick_y : June 4th, 2020-02:16
I can see the tourbillon model will be a little slower selling due to the higher cost, unusual height, greater amount made, and unconventional layout. The last two MB&F items I bought both sold out before I got a chance to buy them. For the item one I...
