I think that the style of the Angelus is better (the 3d structure of the movement and the overall asthetic) but I think that the gp has a better finish. That is just my impression though!!

I think on an Angelus a lot

Isolating only the dials and movements and purely based on aesthetic I think the Angelus would be my favourite of the two.

But then you put them in a case and add a bracelet or strap, I think I veer towards the GP. So, in conclusion. One needs both !
