to keep the hands from dragging shards of crystal around the dial. And then the tape to seal it up. I didn’t know what else to do. But it appears to me only the crystal is damaged.

I dropped an old Ebel and cracked an acrylic crystal, and replaced that myself. I had to buy several different sizes to be sure of the fit, but they were inexpensive. This one won’t be, I fear.

Oh, well. It probably needed the service anyway.
