I feel with you but you don't do it better. The Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial is the actual model that should be compared to the Submariner.

The Planet Ocean as competitor for the Sea-Dweller and the Overseas 2000V as competitor for the Nautilus 5711 and Royal Oak 15202. Also the A. Lange 1815 as competitor for the 5170... just a few examples.

in reality it’s closer to the seadweller? Both have the dot markers on the bezel. Both have helium escape valves. Both bigger than 40mm Both have red text Both had no cylclopse ( previous version) ...

It’s thicker. It’s got a different dial with different markers. In fact I think it’s closer to the fifty fathoms from a dial perspective

I have a Submariner but I do not dive, deepest it's been is probably the kitchen or bathroom sink. Out of curiosity how many people

really dive past 100 ft anyway?? I'm guessing there may be a few here who do but the majority get no deeper than a neighborhood, home or hotel pool.

I will rinse it with water when it gets really dirty
