My ochs and junior for example is made of silver. The silver is meant to pick up some scratches and dents and develop a patina. on my gold vintage dress watch I am trying to preserve the gorgeous case as best I can.

I would add that I would never, under any circumstances, polish a watch case...

 By: sham1 : October 31st, 2019-20:57
but I personally do not like dings on anything I own. I was once wearing a Patek 5575G (the 175th anniversary world timer with the enchanting moon) and a friend of mine walking close to me scratched the case with her diamond ring. Despite how much I loved...

I try to be careful when I wear my watches, but it's inevitable that dings and scratches come about. It's all part of the ownership process. IMHO: Dings and scratches do give watches some character from enjoyment.

Do I mind dings and scratches on my cars? Yes and no, yes I do mind those dents you get at parking lots with many careless drivers who open their door and smash a dent in yours. No, I don’t mind the few scratches and rim damages resulting from taking the ...

fits correctly so that the entire watch sits within the width of your wrist, is reasonably thin to diameter and has a more of a concave bezel design together with some common sense and precaution when wearing and you should be fine. I see folks sporting t...
