I actually loved the way RL went about their original foray into watches. Choosing high quality calibers and focusing on design and execution. Very old school approach which clearly didn't pay off and I'm sad they never did and likely wont get the credit ...

Piaget ultra slim caliber, extensive handwork in both the Rose Gold case and dial, beautiful and thoughtful design (perfect hand length), ultra thin case yet wearable 38mm sizing... but yet, its a "fashion watch"

The technical power is ultimate. The only downside of Piaget is the aggressive took over of Heuer. Jack had a very difficult time, and found a friend in Willy Breitling.
