High End for the era Beta 21 tuning fork watches are quite collectable and have a smooth moving seconds hand, not ticking. And modern quartz can have great functionality such as this A-13 A
chronograph mission timer. Independant set hour hand for traveller`s , interval lap time possible and `flyback`return to the Original running lap time, and very legible. So there is a lot to like in quartz, and UHF is extremly precize and GS makes some beatiful and/or practical quartz watches.

I have several Grand Seiko
Which are very well made and super accurate. One to +/- 10secs per year. One to +/- 5secs per year. They look great, are well made inside and out, so for me they form a valuable part of a broad based collection. Gary
