Your comment/reply is instructive, in that it at least shows us that Hodinkee (or others like) will try to make a lot out of this or that... while not considering whether the offering has real value to the collector. This is the lesson, 'morale' of your above 'story'. 35 seconds slow/fast??!! Jeeez. I am frustrated with my Seiko X at about $1K... which loses 20 secs a day ish... (within its terrible specs) so 35 secs a day?? This is totally unacceptable. How can a collector-obsessed site like Hodinkee even offer such a watch with a straight face? They do so knowingly and they do not --in this case--care. Sorry. they can not claim ignorance, they are far too deep to not know better. Not to make this about THAT, but... caveat emptor as they say. And thanks very much for your reply and I do hope you find a watch worthy of your expenditure. Whatever the price. Choose a CHRONOMETER, ONLY, as you buy forward.

There is a bit of good news. I had fun with the Timegrapher and it is now +5 sec/day. Yet soooo yes, for just a few Euros more they should have given a better movement.
