Spectacular photos and pieces!

Thanks for sharing.

Indeed a spectacular collection!

The handwerkskunst is of course a museum worthy masterpiece. But curious - do you have a favorite that you enjoy wearing most?

That's flattering

 By: samwan : April 4th, 2020-18:07
Now that your ask - though I wind them everyday, I don't wear them too often. Maybe the 5270G because it is easier to find attire matching the blue dial. Next to that, the Dato Perpetual and the 1815 HWK...The IWC and Moser I hardly wear at all (I don't k...

PP 5270 G for me please

I send you shipping address by pm ; needless to say that I cover shipping fees and full insurance of course 😂🤣 Your photographer friend is gifted. He is also lucky to have such nice models to shoot 👌👌 Wear them in the best of health Mike

The 3 AL&S are awesome.

All I need is just 1 PC or PCC in my collection, and I’m done! This is way too much goodies to swallow 😂

then go for a PP or Lange

 By: samwan : April 4th, 2020-18:59

Sam, thanks for sharing with us your superb collection!

 By: sham1 : April 4th, 2020-19:57
I have only one perpetual calendar (Patek 5940G) and even then, I think it is one too many apart from on a Feb 29 every four years. My favourite would be a tussle between the 3rd Lange which is ultra rare with the hinged back (and probably heavy as hell!)...

The 5940 is nice too

 By: samwan : April 4th, 2020-20:12
Yes, the 1815 HWK is pretty and you guessed right, super heavy. It is sporty and I have now applied a customized rhino strap with gray stitches. Not a dress watch... The 5270R is attractive in another way. I must admit I do not wear it as often as I shoul...

Sam, with you incomparable collection

 By: sham1 : April 4th, 2020-21:36
it must be a nightmare to decide what watch to wear daily!

Well, there are all spectaculars

 By: Tyo : April 4th, 2020-20:11
Especially the well-named « Handwerkskunst » which I think I remember the thread you did when you collected it. But since, you offered one, and this is has been already chosen I’ll go for the Lange Datograph. I’ll be more generous than my fellow purist fr...

LOL

 By: samwan : April 4th, 2020-20:14
I have been in possession of the Dato Perpetual for 10 years and still not gotten tired of it...problem is - I need a loupe to read it...

Flash calendar. Super stealth with the month indication. Fumé dial.

Yes, the Perpetual 1 has a certain charm

 By: samwan : April 4th, 2020-21:01
I think mine was one of the first produced....palladium case, double hairsprings.

Even better.

 By: Lankysudanese : April 4th, 2020-21:06
You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

exquisite pieces.

 By: George Gently : April 4th, 2020-23:33
Well, for me it’s the marvelous Datograph Perpetual. It’s grey dial, that lovely blue large seconds hand, the movement... (sigh). Moser is close second. Thank you very much for showing, Sam, lightens up my day! Regards, George.

Glad you enjoyed the post and pictures

 By: samwan : April 5th, 2020-00:23
Have a wonderful day!

Thanks Moritz

 By: samwan : April 5th, 2020-01:37
IMHO, the Langematik PC is one of the coolest and best looking perpetual calendars

Fantastic collection and photos, Sam

 By: Seeks : April 5th, 2020-01:32
Pick just one,...Sorry, can't do it! All are too cool! Best of Health!

Hehe

 By: samwan : April 5th, 2020-01:38
Hope you are holding up well amidst the lockdown...

For me 2 please

 By: MTR : April 5th, 2020-01:53
1. the epic, romantic ALS 1815 Rattrapante (even if I fear that readability is not the best) 2. Moser Perpetual (because it is such a fantastic watch. But I am biased.) Best Thomas ...

Wow....I see that you prefer the minimalist approach

 By: samwan : April 5th, 2020-02:50
The instantaneous date jump indeed works like magic...

Yes, unbelievable! As your wonderful, breathtaking collection!!

 By: MTR : April 5th, 2020-04:20
How is your experience with the PR of your Moser? It says 7 days. But I tested mine and winded it at first after more than 8 days. And it still seemed to have power. I think my next watch might be an ALS. Although I HATE their policy of raising prices on ...

Thanks Thomas

 By: samwan : April 5th, 2020-04:27
I never checked the Power Reserve of the Moser. I guess it is around 7-8 days. I set my eyes on the Langematik Perpetual 15 years ago and bought it 7, 8 years later. As a result I paid 60% more because of that price raising policy. Nobody likes it of cour...

Actually...

 By: mikemargolis : April 8th, 2020-18:02
Mike Margolis here from Moser Americas. The watch is spec'd to run 7 days, more accurately it is 9 or 10 days. Underpromise/overdeliver.

Underpromise / overdeliver - what a great claimer!

 By: MTR : April 9th, 2020-16:39
Thank you, Mike! My experience with Moser has always been overdelivering regarding PR: Kind regards Thomas ...

Fantastic collection

 By: Jurry : April 5th, 2020-01:58
It’s not often that I’m flabbergasted but now I am. Congratulations on having had the ability to build such a collection. Personally the IWC is one that somehow doesn’t fit in with the rest. And as far as my personal preference: that’s the only one missin...

I fully agree

 By: samwan : April 5th, 2020-02:46
I would not be surprised that some time down the road, I may part with the IWC, now that I don't even wear it at all. I got it a couple of years ago, long before I acquired the others.....Also, there is one drawback - if I accidentally advanced the date ,...

Pushers

 By: Jurry : April 5th, 2020-07:01
Doesn’t it have pushers to change the date?

sorry I’m still ogling at the 1815 blue dial Luna version...

 By: mahesh : April 5th, 2020-02:28
In deed it’s a distraction to everything not just the calendar! It will be my choice... Best, Mahesh.,

Fully understandable

 By: samwan : April 5th, 2020-02:48
IMHO, the 1815 HWK is in a different league of its own. Whenever I wear it, it is a conversation breaker...

Incredible collection

 By: watch-er : April 5th, 2020-07:12
Awesome

My wife will say

 By: samwan : April 5th, 2020-07:18
Time (and money) mis-spent :P

Tssssss... ;) [nt]

 By: amanico : April 5th, 2020-22:41

I like them all...

 By: patrick_y : April 5th, 2020-15:33
I like them all. But aesthetically in my eye, the 5270 looks best on my wrist out of all of these. I haven’t tried the blue dial version. But the white gold silver dial version looks good on my wrist and the rose gold silver dial is also excellent.

Yes, it is very wearable

 By: samwan : April 5th, 2020-16:38
but somehow the blue on the 5070P seems more attractive....

A magnificent collection, but the Dato Perpetual is incredible!

 By: jkvs : April 6th, 2020-11:14
I tried it in NYC last summer and I can’t forget about it. As long as I cannot afford it I wear my Langematik Perpetual What is your everyday watch?

Hehe...I don't have a daily watch

 By: samwan : April 6th, 2020-16:12
A smart watch maybe - Tag Heuer Connected whenever I dress casually...

Fantastic

 By: MNG : April 9th, 2020-09:09
Gosh, what a fabulous collection of PC’s you have! You make me feel very much better about my own small collection. I have the first two Lange on your list and also the Moser. The Dato Perpetual is certainly my favourite of all my watches, but the Moser d...
