In the more affordable forums homages are seen as two of the following 1) A good alternative to expensive watches or 2) Ripoffs of the actual thing. Now opinions are subjective I’m one of those people who look at homage as the alternative just as long as ... 

As long as a watch doesn't pretend to be a certain brand it isn't (a fake), I am okay with that. ...

Tornek-Rayville is a good example of an homage which might be more acceptable because it's based on a vintage watch model rather than a watch made to look like a current generation watch. The Gevril Tribeca is another example of an homage based of a vinta...

As a friendly remark, the argument in favor of choosing a homage because we can't afford the real model is dangerously close to the argument we hear for fakes, and on many levels, it might be nearly as difficult to justify....my personal code of conduct i...

Just buy a seiko and be proud of it, homage watches are never the answer.

I would if the watch in question had the name of said manufacturer on it but if it’s any other name I don’t see a problem.
