For modern times the GF definitely is a stand out

Modern technology has allowed for the parts to be produced with precision. Which in turn has allowed these stunning timepieces to be created.

The rare violins have been brought up & I still find it amazing the craftsmanship that was able to be produced back in the day. Even the ultra complicated perpetual calendars with split seconds chrono and minute repater pocket watches are marvels considering the machines used to create certain parts where no where near CAD standard. Plus the watchmakers were creating the movements without computer software.

GF will be seen as a standout, as they went down the road of introducing more than one tourbillon in a watch and altering the number of revolutions it made.

I look forward to seeing what the future holds for watchmaking in general.
