The hour hand looks like a pixelated rubber eraser, limited to 20 pieces and sells for $21,900 and is available starting today online only. (From Robb Report) ...

It had better be...

...or else they have become a novelty watch company.

Then they have shown themselves to be a silly company.

Never been a Moser fan so no bother to me...

I would say they have always been like this. They make really beautiful watches but they got that sense of humor/going against the old school vibe. I like it.

Nope, it is serious.

You can find it on Moser's website.

It’s only 20 pieces, I don’t see the damage. For those that think what seconde / seconde have been doing is cool, this a perfect collaboration.

I think you are more engaged in the business details, marketing etc of luxury brands and so I do appreciate your insight here. Do you really think a 20 watch run could negatively impact the brand? I mean, this won’t get anywhere near the exposure their Ap...

Everybody has a moment in life which they wish they can erase. 😁. On the other, this hobby and passion teach us to do stupid thing and realizing its a mistake again and again 🤣

They should invest their money in some complications. Ie gmt . If they want to be haute horology they need to make more interesting pieces that people would want, not laugh at

I’m surprised at the reactions here, but it’s interesting to listen to what people have to say.

My take on it is Moser having a little bit of fun, as they tend to do. We don’t need to be so so serious all the time. And for certain, Moser has presented themselves as not so serious all the time so it’s hardly unforeseen to see them to continue to do s...

I agree

This watch a collaboration with an artist, so there’s some irreverence going on, but I actually find it to be socially relevant, given that people are spending millions on NFTs (exhibit A: the highly anticipated Tiger King NFT auction). I don’t own a Mose...

A conversation starter for sure.

But I probably would not want to wear it .

I believe that no one mentioned that the original hour hand comes in the box, too.

So the owner can switch whenever he wants. "Available exclusively online, it is limited to just 20 pieces and includes a framed artistic rendering of the watch along with the original Endeavour hour hand"

It amuses me..

to see the brand attempting polarisation as a marketing approach. Quirks as these "erasers" can at best be amusing but more likely to lower the prestige of horological pedigree that takes a brand, years to establish. If any, I see these antics to be more ...
