American watchmakers Roland G Murphy and Joshua Shapiro will be at a panel in NYC this Sunday (and you can come!)
So, I heard from L.A. based watchmaker and guillocheur Joshua Shapiro that he will be in NYC Sunday at a panel with Roland G Murphy of RGM.
It's at 1pm, and for the location in Manhattan you can RSVP with Joshua via email: Josh AT jnshapirowatches DOT com
The first picture is an example of the Infinity series, the watches Josh has now, using a movement by UWD and Josh's own hand guilloché. He plans to have a watch with his own American made movement, his own finishing (and continuing his guilloché dials) in the future.
Roland and RGM need no introduction, of course, but it sounds like Josh will be following in Roland's footsteps and aiming toward a more haute horology audience. Should be great to hear them both.
