Can any watch use curved spring bars, or are the spring bar holes in the lugs designed to hold the curved bars at the manufacturer?

this is not an exact science... some plyers and fiddling might be required to find a good fit. I also believe many brands work towards straight bars to avoid any security issues. I know I have been nervous with my AP's curved end strap and bars

If you put a curved spring bar into a watch designed to take straight bars, the gap will be bigger because it curves away from the case while being anchored at the same points. This is why some manufacturers provide two sets of lug holes, one for straight...

Best to only use spring bars like the originals, so curved only if the original bars were curved. For straight, the holes in the lugs are at 90 degrees to the inner line of the lug. Holes designed for curved bars are not perpendicular. If you use curved b...
