We all meet and share our experiences and various watches here. We all come from different backgrounds, cities, states and countries, and we all like watches. What else do some of you like to collect? I like my watches and I also like to collect nice pens... 

I used to collect stamps when I was young. Now I have a crazy amount of model cars at 1/43 or 1/18 scale, mostly road cars, vintage to modern. Funny that I am also fond of nice Cufflinks, a have a fair few, but like you I hardly ever wear any of them. As ... 

What model manufacturers do you tend to go for?

exoto, cmc, Autoart, minichamps, schuco, hotwheels, schuco, even resin models like MR, looksmart, GT spirts etc etc Basically everything. To me it is the subject car that is the most important. Then I will choose diecast over resin and high end over lower...  

Since I can’t afford the real cars, this is the next best thing lol. Having my own mini car museum. Best, David

Mine is only around 20 pieces 😊 Also using exactly the same procedure as you in selecting them, most of them having ended up being AutoART.

very much pens but i ve stopped around 15pcs and use just 2everyday -the most of my collection from caran d Ache.i m also passionate in FX and EWT. But nothing comparable to my interest in watches

But like you i also like to collect pens (mainly Montegrappa) i did collect cars to few years ago but that was to much of hard work to do all of the maintenance and storage etc so i sold most of them .

I have a sad habit, I loose them. So, I prefer to focus on watches. Best, Nicolas

You’ve scratched an interesting angle. Hypothetically you might expect a kind of similarity in the answers I would guess cuff links, writing instruments and perhaps whiskeys will be common denominators (and cars for the more fortunate people) But other to... 

I for my part collect fountain pens, knives, and flashlights. But... I‘m no very obsessive collector. I just like good design, aesthetics, the beauty of things and materials. I try not to become the slave of an obsession 😎 Which happened when I collected ...

just collect some opera cds and related books and dvds,classical cds,wines,decanters, porcelain(those i can afford). Enough of a drain on my resources,especially as wines are not permanent but consumed!

I started with swatch watches and pocketknives from I was 8. When I was a student I started on pens and danish modernist furniture. And rare books on mainly architecture and design. Then my serious watch habit broke out..with cameras (mainly Polaroid) the...

The first one with been me for more than twenty years. Have more Hugo polo t shirt than normal round neck t shirt.

Watches- Ball watch, Car- Mercedes Benz, Belts- Bruan Buffel, Specs- Ray Ban, Shirts- Hugo Boss, Pen- Mont Blanc.

I started adding them in my youth. You only need seven, though. The stone is a collection on its own. Unglued. From the very edge of the vein, where the garnet density changes. A natural marvel. A bit like other items on this site, these should last a few...  

.. the edge does take a few days to settle after one shave. In practice, two or three razors is probably enough.

12 is not a very elaborate collection compared to many people. I also have probably 6 double edge razors. This is a Dubl Duck Wonderedge 6/8”... oh, and a Patek 5135j— sold separately, batteries not included Cheers Drew ...

Memories. Now when my crazy and adventurous wife says “let’s go ride camels in the Arabian desert!” or “let’s go to Reykjavik for the weekend!” or “let’s take a last-minute flight to NYC tonight!” I almost always respond YES!!! Life is short and I’m enjoy...
