Ten year anniversary-Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days PAM 372

 By: Bill : June 11th, 2022-18:51
Wearing the watch this weekend 2022 I have had it 10 years and rarely worn I have the pleasure of presenting a few pictures of this beauty PAM00372. As you can see the watch is hitting the streets running. Panerai PAM 372. This hand-wound beauty is surly ...

Your pictures

 By: flamenco : November 23rd, 2011-17:31
captues the watch beautifully , very emotive ! Like the way you capture the sandwich dial, displays the watch in all its glory. That invariably will hurt some wallets, which will also sink in emotively after the money has gone from the bank acct. Not seen...

Thanks for the feed back

 By: Bill : November 23rd, 2011-17:57
You have a valid point with the movement position. I look at more from the industrial look that it has to fit the "tool", ok that's a big word, aspect. I think a solid back would be more historic but I think Panerai is proud of its in-house movement so th...

Smashing shots Bill!

 By: BluNotte : November 23rd, 2011-17:33
Thanks for making my morning! Grazie! Stephen

I hope I can make your week

 By: Bill : November 23rd, 2011-17:58
But with the hot watches adorning your wrist it will be hard to get more than a morning but I will take it. Thanks Bill

Well you give me more excitement as i await mine!

 By: BluNotte : November 23rd, 2011-18:13
Which i should receive not too long from now! Thanks! Stephen

Voila! That's the spirit. Perfect and Harmonious all around

 By: PoyFR : November 23rd, 2011-21:06
Congratulations. No need to say well done because you know this already. I am sure you will get plenty enjoyment with it on your wrist. Oh and my eyes want to thank you for the wonderful images you generously shared.

I think Panerai was listening

 By: Bill : November 23rd, 2011-22:09
You are absolutely correct. This is an example well executed. Time will tell. I am still a fiddy fan because I stareed late. The old guarde like you and Nico that had the nose to know this was a killer brand took early risks to support the brand. In some ...

(I am blushing...) I think you are right

 By: PoyFR : November 24th, 2011-03:12
Regardless whereas it is intentional, this is a great piece. The reduction in size and the 3 days movement, a winner in an instant. That the kind of ideas that does need no secrets, just positioning the product w here it is needed and expected. Back to bl...

Non non non, it's the chief, the mischief LOL [nt]

A new paneristi eco system, nice! Where everybody respects each other and are able to learn from the old guard Nice, very nice... René

I think you are..... I will wait and see and never say never... Thanks Bill

George give in to the temptation

 By: Bill : November 23rd, 2011-22:13
You know this is going to be part of your collection. I have not seen your fiddy because you must be hiding it. This is the historic piece your collection must have. wrist shots coming. Bill

I knew you would say that.

 By: grigo : November 24th, 2011-05:23
Let me first get my two JLC DSA's and give some further thoughts to the PAM 372. Best regards, George

Wasn't it a millesimed edition of 3000 pieces, at the beginning?

 By: amanico : November 23rd, 2011-22:31
I mean , when it was announced at the SIHH? Anyway, this is certainly a hit. One I would like to see in the flesh, once again. Can you bring it with you, with the 127, for some pictures? Superb post, once again, my friend. Best, Nicolas.

I think it was to be a run of 2000 pieces, but here the more the better

 By: PoyFR : November 24th, 2011-03:02
This is a perfect execution and with added values, making it too limited would be a waste, if they indeed increased the run the better, this way we will have a chance to see a few around and on wrists. How often to you get to see a PAM 3A? I say too littl...

I checked, it was meant to be a millesimed production of 3000 pieces.

 By: amanico : November 24th, 2011-03:13
But as you said, it doesn't really matter. And yes, I'm happy to see that Panerai decided to make more, which are not OOR or, how they say, ghost? Best, Nicolas.

I checked too... How about that hein? Yes it is better this way

 By: PoyFR : November 24th, 2011-03:21
If this is the case, no more OOR and Shadows, clean run of 5000 pieces and everybody is happy. Notwithstanding that for such a piece it is a winner regardless and anyway. I am sure you are thinking and cooking something. See that's the problem with addict...

I am cooking nothing, well, for the moment.

 By: amanico : November 24th, 2011-03:25
My italian oven is empty, sadly. Best, Nicolas.

Mamma Mia... Give me a phone call at 8 in the morning...

 By: amanico : November 24th, 2011-03:45
She will tell you, in person. Sto Cazz! Best, Nicolas.

Okay, i will do that and I'll tell her you told me so

 By: PoyFR : November 24th, 2011-03:49
She will show you Jamaica and have you dance for a l o n g t i m e

RMLOL x 2! You know her very well.

 By: amanico : November 24th, 2011-03:51
BUT, if you're lucky enough, there will be some Jamaica for you, too.... Ok, do you still have a free room in your house for me? Best, Nicolas.

Ah if only some of the guys here would want to know why we are worried of some immigrants

 By: PoyFR : November 24th, 2011-04:00
I have some recordings that would demonstrate how educated, kind and generous theose foreigners are, we French often have a bad reputation, wait you hear what I have you will easily understand we are far better than some others, hein Nico?

Great shots Bill !! Unique Oem Strap!!

 By: jchubb59 : November 23rd, 2011-22:36
Bill, I was lucky also. IMHO 50-60 or more have hit the streets in the last few days in the USA.. The smooth strap is unique. It has a smell to it that makes me think it is cordovan leather. ( only cordovan has that type of scent) The texture also reminds...

I was pretty sure you would jump on this one

Nicolas is the king of pics. I just take a lot and hope for the best. At the end of the day it is all about the light. Macro shots and try and avoid your own reflection which is pretty damn hard. Bill

Oooh I thought so...

I am glad you enjoyed the picture.

PAM372 oozes Panerai pedigree - one of the great modern references IMHO !

 By: mahesh : June 11th, 2022-19:34
Bill - your first pic....the essence of 372 is well captured ! Plexiglass on the earlier versions is extremely gorgeous...the gilt hands gives a warm feel. I used to have one, but it is with a great friend now - so I'm happy where it is now. Best, mahesh....

10 years already... WOW. Mine too I guess.
