I have learned one thing though
No matter how attractive a movement is, the dial has to look good because that is what we will be staring at most of the time. A great looking movement is not an excuse for an average dial.

If it would be one of the first looking like this, it would be a good watch and I‘ve got no problem with competition. But it really looks like all the others. No USP except for the movement. But that‘s not enough for me.
Which is also the point you mention. It‘s not just about looking good, it‘s about would you choose it over the competition.
