Looking at the picture I understand your concern, but the watch itself fits perfectly. The white dial makes it look big (or bigger than it is).

Still feeling the watch is a little big for my wrist...😢 ...

To my eye...

that looks like a perfect size on your wrist and loving the strap combination! Cheers Andrew

Thanks!

I think it's that I normally wear 36-38mm so I am just not used to a time only watch being 40 mm!

Love it. Cheers.

Best, V.

Thank you sir.

You're very kind

How big in diameter is your watch?

 By: geross : March 6th, 2019-03:43
Looks allright. Tfs. Geross 😉

40 mm sir

 By: jaychang777 : March 6th, 2019-04:05
I may get used to it over time but I normally wear smaller watches so maybe that's why!

It does indeed!

I do feel after a while of use it is a tad bit too big for me (at least for a time only watch), and am thinking of parting with it for a different watch!

Might be true!

My girlfriend took a picture of me wearing the watch and it looked a better fit then! Thanks for the compliments on the strap

I think it looks great I wear so called

Men’s watches all the time. It looks good to my eye

Cheers!

 By: jaychang777 : March 6th, 2019-04:10
I think I will have to get used to it! Time only at 40mm is much larger than what I'm used to!

Yes sometimes it’s difficult to get

 By: Choupette - Amber : March 6th, 2019-04:17
used to but it really looks very nice, enjoy!

Thank you!

Cheers!!

I think the strap makes it look a bit better. The brown alligator that came with the watch was a bit too much for me!

Can’t go wrong whit a LF [nt]

 By: Arie - Mr Orange : March 6th, 2019-06:53

Many thanks! [nt]

 By: jaychang777 : March 6th, 2019-07:51

Looks fine.

Modern size

Modern size indeed!

 By: jaychang777 : March 6th, 2019-04:12
I wish the watch were a little bit thinner & smaller, but that doesn't seem the direction LF is headed...

New strap

You know a camera adds 5lbs. To a watch. I think it looks fine.

Haha just like how it adds to people!

Thank you!

Looks great! [nt]

Really a stunner

 By: andyhud : March 6th, 2019-06:15
I love the look of the LF and to my eye it’s a great fit on your wrist. And the strap is a nice complement as well.

Absolutely love it too!

 By: jaychang777 : March 6th, 2019-06:30
Sadly I am thinking of letting it go in the near future

!Thank you!

 By: jaychang777 : March 6th, 2019-06:30
Still trying to get used to it..

Ãœber cool [nt]

 By: Artoxares : March 6th, 2019-06:38
This LF is, at least in my eyes, close to perfection (case, dial and calibre are all top notch). And it looks really great on your wrist! Best, Nicolas

You are too kind sir!

 By: jaychang777 : March 6th, 2019-07:52
I do love everything about the watch! Only wish it were a tad bit smaller!

First Class Choice

 By: Passionata_george : March 6th, 2019-10:27

Thank you sir! [nt]

For me it looks

PERFECT. Best, Thomas

You are very kind sir...

 By: jaychang777 : March 7th, 2019-02:17
I have decided however to let this go! I just cannot handle it!

Personally I think it's fine

 By: nwk00 : March 7th, 2019-02:53
Don't sell the watch. I have owned a regular 40mm version like yours. And I have a 39mm tourb and another 41mm micro. 39mm fits better but the proportion is not as wonderful. Suddenly the watch is too thick for the size despite it being only 1mm differenc...

Thank you for the insight!

 By: jaychang777 : March 7th, 2019-03:04
I did not know they did a 41mm in this case shape - is that the square version? I agree the proportions are very nicely done on the 40mm version.. I don't think I'd sell it unless I can trade it for some of my favorite watches!

No, it's for the normal micro rotor case

 By: nwk00 : March 7th, 2019-03:20
I think there were limited runs for some platinum models. The dealer told me because platinum is softer, they needed to screw the case back to the case. So to accommodate the screws they needed to increase the case size.

This is interesting!

 By: jaychang777 : March 7th, 2019-05:22
For some reason I thought it was just the one 40mm size except for the few 39’s they have done here and there

You should check out

The Deployant blog on the Laurent Ferrier micro rotor from Feb 2012. Look at the finishing of the parts and also the area under the bridge holding the micro rotor. The movement is really sublime and prob the best microrotor movement currently.

Indeed! I have been using the included loupe..

 By: jaychang777 : March 7th, 2019-05:42
I could spend all day looking at this movement! I have been trying some macro shots of the watch as well. Really sublime finishing

I think you’re right...

 By: jaychang777 : March 7th, 2019-10:56
The strap is indeed a tad bit long for me! My wrists are too tiny! 😂
