Confirmation of London GTG 2012 - Thursday 31st May

 

Thanks to everyone that has expressed an interest in attending the London GTG in late May.  After reviewing all the responses the overwhelming majority was in favour of Thursday 31st May (anything to get out of going into the office for a day huh!).  Of course I do understand that it is the start of school half-term holidays in the UK and also many people already have weekend plans.

My apologies to those that expressed a preference for either of the Saturday dates (foversta, jml_watches and Andy ) but I hope you will understand why the date of 31st May has been chosen.  Of course, I do really hope that there is sufficient notice that the Thursday may be possible for all of you - it would be so nice to see there.

The list of attendees with the Thursday preference (or no preference expressed) is as follows (Eloise, I hope you and your husband can travel to London a couple of days earlier):

Once I have finalised the restaurant for lunch I will send you all a PM with the details for locations and timings.  If you need hotel accommodation then please let me know and I will suggest a few reasonably priced ones.

I for one am getting excited about the prospect of another great GTG in London.

I will be in Paris on the 21st. It is a day trip for me so I am on the 6:17am Eurostar out and get to Gare du Nord at 9:50. I am meeting Nicolas at Luxembourg station on the RER B line. How are you getting there? I think Imran is maybe getting the same tr...

i'm making the most of the Paris trip by having a bit of a holiday with Bim before and Big Daddy afterwards. London will be a day trip by train. after that i think i'll have to hibernate for a month or so. G
