My horological adventures in France and Switzerland!
Hello all! I am traveling in Europe at the moment for vacation before a summer internship and my last college class. Paris, Monaco, Cannes, Biel, Basel, La Chaux de Fonds, and Le Brassus to be specific. This agenda has enabled me to see the OMEGA museum, MIH, and the Blancpain Manufacture in Le Brassus, which I just posted in the Blancpain forum. I just thought I would share my experiences, because they have really been great. The OMEGA museum and MIH were just fabulous and I highly recommend both. OMEGA's collection of pieces will really excite any Omega fan, and the sports timing equipment display is excellent. Below is a picture of one of their displays. MIH was simply overwhelming...so many amazing pieces, and such a cool place. I did not attach photos because I am not sure I am allowed to do so. And during the film festival I went to the Blancpain boutique in Cannes and got an exhibition of the Carrousel...I even got to wear it! At all facilities, but particularly Blancpain, I received immaculate service.
