The “photo albums”, ‘moments’ “smart albums”, etc. were introduced by Apple into their photo picker years ago in one of their earlier iOS releases. It is not something we introduced or even have control of.

The app itself was last updated a year ago.

Maybe you were using the web browser interface in safari at www.Watchprosite.com? - that has a different photouploader process. It does also let you rotate images before you upload them.

I am not sure why Apple called it “moments” - but it does seem to be what is called “library’ in the photos app.
The rest are albums and smart albums.

It does mean that if you have a large library of photos you can just “favorite” an old photograph or add it to an album to be able to easily find it for uploading.

this new "photo Albums" system doesn t work flawless (at least for mye ) not really understand the logic of "moments" , "smart albums" etc. also some pix upladed upside down or horizontal instead of vertical .any chance to get a manual or keep things on t...
