I believe that forum members should be contributing content as best they can and first posts should NOT be efforts to tap in to the expertise of the community regarding authenticity and value. 

This week, there were two “first posts” that were asking for opinions on authenticity (for a Cartier and a Ulysses Nardin).   I took offense to this and had to mention it because it adds nothing to the purists pro forum.
