I received the first piece Glashutte delivered to the United States many years ago and penned a rather exhaustive review of the watch, movement, and everything that makes it awesome.

But wearing the Limited Edition version, it really looks and feels different on the wrist.  I won't call it an improvement, but I would say it has a special "it" that the standard model does not.  Hard to describe in words, but the feeling is undeniable.

So is this variation. I can say however that it is exceptionally heavy for its size — it’s surprising when you strap it on. Cazalea

Ça aléa, is your observation on weight for your original version as well or just the limited edition? Having the limited edition I love the weight of it which almost feels more like platinum

But I always wondered if that was the same with the original version which I never saw in the flesh?

My original is almost too heavy for me - much heavier than any other watch I own - I'm sure it's the same as yours

Of course, we could just weigh them and see, can't we? Mine comes in at 167 g or 6 oz. Cazalea ...

I tried the original model a few years ago and it was my favourite GO watch until it was superceded by the LE. Although technically the same watch, the LE is just abit more special and like what you said, you can feel that specialness when you put it on y...
