I have both versions and the new one have got some really great wrong with the old one but the new one is so much nicer.

When I get a chance I will weight my PML & PR and see the difference. Maybe the movement not have exactly the same weight but we can get a indication.
Now I have checked the weights.
The bracelets are not built in the same way as the older ones have shorter middle links and even shorter links between them. Even the endlinks are not the same. But the bracelets are at the same length and the weight difference on a watch with the bracele...

I had not thought of metal on the Chronometer, you did very well! I have yet to change my strap since acquiring 07... one of these days perhaps...

And because there were no white gold bracelet option for the watch you saved a good money for your future watch purchases.
