This is such a novel piece, and the execution is extraordinary.  This kind of inspiration is one of the many reasons why I love GO.  Thanks so much for your post!

...not so sure about the parts of the subdials that are obscured by the large 'floating' ring... Would a manual movement have helped to make it slimmer?

Interesting design details. The only consideration is at 44mm it’s larger than I would like on this watch.
