But absolutely, that is a huge part of the charm of this watch for me. The precision is exceptional in all regards.

That is indeed the top of the Chronometer‘s evolution :-)
The concept of a ships chronometer has never before been captured as faithfully as in this model. Its only downside might be that it outshines its predecessors so brightly ;-) I am very happy that you were there and ready at the right time to get one! Bes...
I did get lucky in the timing.
And I could not resist this version! But the regular one is also so enjoyable. Glashutte has really produced a fine timekeeper for us.

I also like how GO tries to get their date wheels the same or similar color to the dial, in most instances. Here, they used a nice eggshell date wheel to match, and not glaring white like some other, *cough, cough, PP*, does with their dials.

It is clear this brand thinks through the many details. For my tastes, they got this one as perfect as possible.
