Glashütte Original

In my journey of getting to know the Glashütte Original brand, from the early 2000s, these two models are among those that intrigued me the most, one due to its absolute unusualness and particularly complex movement (the weekly calendar), the other for th...  

Except that in my industry we don't reckon time in this way so I find it hard to justify enjoying one Plus this is a manufacture service only calibre so that also weighs the scales against it Maybe one day...

To me it's surprising that calendar week didn't become more popular and even more surprising that GO took it out of production after such a short time. The unique movement must have been both difficult and expensive to produce and then not used in any mod... 

The reason being is that periods of calendar weeks are used in the business world in Germany, but not outside that much. GO knew this and as the niche market (unusual complications) is a strategy of GO, not many were built. It is also a quite good prestig... 

And the numbers of total production stays i Glashütte.

What I think is strange is that GO didn't make another variant of calendar week so they can still use the movement.

or the Keyzer Söze of watches. Not much people have seen it, only heard about it. 😂😂😂

Here in Sweden, there are professional groups that work with weekly planning, e.g. the construction industry, the automotive industry, etc. But these professional groups would never use such a watch.

It is beautiful, a nice "anual calender" watch and technically unmatched. I don't own a GO, because I want this one to be the one GO I own.
