It's breaking in already. A bit stiff out of the box...

But no different than others. It's pliable and just needs a few more days to mold to my wrist.
The attachment to the case is a standard springbar. I think the blue dial is the same. My original Chronometer had the well engineered structural strap, which inserted into the case bottom. Very strong, but it limited the strap from flexing right out of the case. I found it OK for me, but this will be better.

I believe I have found a perfect timepiece.

Ridiculous praise, I know, and ordinarily I wait a few weeks to share a new acquisition. But I have no doubt from the moment I cracked the lid. My first quick impressions are: 1. The dial is much more silver color than standard white gold Senator Chronome...

I hope it is ok with the not solid backcase. 😂😂😂

Congrats my friend to a awesome watch.

Am I correct: the minute hand is truely twisted? Not only cut out like with standard models?

On Michael's picture it looks like twisted.

I think it is flat

It does look twisted in the photo, that would have been a nice added touch.

ROASTED. You got me, and deservedly so.

My first "high end" watch was a Panerai in 2001. I collected the brand for years before exploring others. Most all of them had solid backs. When the 372 came out, I loved it, and immediately bought one from the boutique at full retail. For me, that one be...

Congrats

One time we all find our grail!🥂

I owned the original version for many years. In fact, I had one of the first US deliveries in 2009.

I have always been a huge fan of the design. This new version happens to add some things the original version does not have, and I like them.

Congratulations!

Thank you my Friend. I can fix this quickly...

The date looks like it belongs.

 By: MichaelC : September 5th, 2020-14:18
Would it be awesome without? I'm sure it would. But it has never bothered me on this model. I consider it a modern chronometer, set in a precious metal case after all.

Nope, the date doesn't bother me either. [nt]

I am very lucky to have similar feelings for a few others.

It was a victim of downsizing.

I mostly regretted it, but feel I have more than righted that now Wait until you see the LE live, I feel I know your tastes well enough that it would be your choice.

Definitely curved surfaces on the hands, NOT flat

 By: cazalea : September 5th, 2020-15:56
at least on my version of the watch. Congratulations! Cazalea ...

Talking about the minute hand, Mike. Curved, yes of course, mine too.

 By: MichaelC : September 5th, 2020-19:41
But twisted? No. Beautiful as they are though.

You certainly get a complete package watch w/ any Senator Chronometer.

You can feel the quality just holding one. It's a delight to wear.

Ok thanks. I cannot stop looking at your picture of this watch on your wrist. The limited edition truly has something special compared to ....

Congratulation!

Very nice watch.

Thanks, Jari. I'm blown away by how the changes enhance this watch for me.

 By: MichaelC : September 8th, 2020-07:25
It feels very different than the standard one I had, and in a great way

Thank you, I also like 7. Rather cool that Glashutte numbered the dial, case, and movement.

No mixing up these parts during future service needs!
