I have a minor grievance with Glashutte Original's design team

The current design team does not seem to be concerned with the location of the date windows.
First, take a look at the modern SeaQ regular date and limited edition against your vintage piece. In the vintage piece, the date window is right on the same (circular) plane as the rest of the indices and the symmetry pleases my eye. With the modern SeaQ, the date window is located a mm or two inside the imaginary circle that passes through the indices. This lowers the perception of the watch in my eyes. It's a common issue with ETA 2824/2892 and the effect can look downright comical at case sizes over 42 mm.
The Panoramic date model doesn't look too bad. However it is not AAA Glashutte Original. The placement of the date window is more disruptive on this dial than it is on the Senator Excellence Panorama Date, where the indices are much smaller such that the date window does not cut into the index marker. Or compare the SeaQ dial to the Senator Cosmopolite Steel, where the date window takes the place of the Arabic "4", but does not cut into the index. The original Senator Chronometer dial is another example of AAA Glashutte - look at where the date window is. The revised version, where the relative location of the date window is altered, is only slightly worse off.
Having a 37 mm SeaQ makes no business sense, so I guess I'd throw my hands up in the air too.
