The Observer in this case.

Remarkable beautiful variant of a classic layout. Check out Jock‘s lume shots.

The Chronograph movement 37 is admittedly by far more interesting. But if you are looking at G.O. Chronographs maybe you want to have closer look at the Seventies Chrono to complement your collection?

I am a big fan of the Senator collection. I already have the Perpetual Calendar, I obviously love the Senator Chronometer but I am curious to know fellow members options on these two reference. I know they are very different but yet I am draw to both of t...

Sorry, bottom one.

I tried the chrono when it came out

But much to my chagrin the proportions just didn't feel right to me and I have 7750s and panerais. A real shame as I have been looking for a flyback for years now. The second hand was also very jittery when starting the chronograph as opposed to the el pr...

How many watches which stay long at an AD unsold, which need a service? After 5 years and more, a new watch need maybe a service interval. At least before sale a check up.

It does wear a bit thick indeed [nt]

I think I am leaning there for sure.

The fact that my current metal bracelet of my GO perpetual also would fit the chrono should not be a criteria i guess because my hearts goes a different way

Observer

It has more style which will make it an evergreen

Thanks Jocke. I think I also prefer its dial like many other here.

I am thinking with the Observer I should not get tired of it with such a classic look!

Forgot to ask, which Cal 37 would you go for Jocke? [nt]

Yes indeed all of Jocke picture of the Observer are nothing short of spectacular ... now regarding your suggestion with the seventies...

I tried this exact model on my wrist but a square 40mm diable with 14.6mm thickness felt Bizard on wrist

The Observer for me.

 By: MTR : September 26th, 2020-04:53
The crowdy dial of the Chrono, especially the typeface, is too unbalanced for me. "Glashütte I/SA" sticks to the Roman XII above. And “Glashütte original” (why „Glashütte“ twice?) under the date window together with the subdials make the entire dial very ...

The top one, i.e., Observer.

Arabic numerals always win out for me and this Observer does Arabics really well. M4

The coolest arabic at the market

Can't wait to see it. How about the Chronometer LE - did you close it?!?

WOW, early congrats!!

I am sorry to derail the topic of this thread, surely we will discuss your Chronometer LE frequently in others! I cannot tell you how much I love mine. It runs nearly perfectly accurate, and oh that bezel and dial color... it is like a whole new watch com...

Don't leave me hanging...

Which # did you get? I would be every bit as happy with any of the 25. It really is a spectacular timepiece, I am excited for you to get it!

I agree with being happy with any of the 25! This was such an unexpected surprise for me to be able to get one of them in the first place...

As for the number, I will let the suspense until the final reveal much like a new born gender reveal . I think you got the first unit even if it was number 7. Number 13 was not available and you can see number 9 in the DÉPLOYANT review out yesterday. I le...

Totally agree there! [nt]

I really like them both, and find it difficult to choose.

 By: vitalsigns : September 26th, 2020-06:10
However...they are both compromised when it comes to size. 44mm is simply too big. And 14.6mm is simply too thick. As much as I like them both visually (and mechanically), they are a no-go for me with these sizes. If size is not an issue, then the Observe...

I am a big fan of both of these watches.

I have nothing bad to say about the Observer -- in fact, as recently as this past summer, I once again considered adding it to my collection. And, who knows? Maybe I still will. With that as an introduction, as between these two pieces I would choose the ...
