My sense is that it is a business thing: production schedules, and the like. But don't take my word for it. I'm the farthest thing from a businessman!

I do love this watch (I'm generally as GO fan). And I figure one would invent a way to rather immediately know the month—this one's easy, as it's the tenth month. But 52/4=13, and, there being only 12 months in our calendar year… Take January (my month) of this year—if the watch registered wk. 5 we might still be in the 1st month, and the date would make it obvious that wk. 5 would begin in January, but fall predominantly in February. I'm sure theres a way to get tangled up by the time one gets to April or May. But maybe not! I'm certain one of our savvy business-minded members could show us just how easy this turns out to be. Big congrats massi, and I agree, great photo! FH

The big date and the week calendar

are the two complications that I actually use in everyday life (in the office, precisely for scheduling processes and purchases of materials). With these dimensions, I can also forget the eyeglasses 😂

Interesting. I'm curious who uses that feature on a watch.?

There must be some kind of demand to know the number of weeks that have passed in a year. I certainly have never cared but someone must use that feature. Or is it a European thing?

It’s quite simple: week 01 of the year is the first week that contains four or more days of the new year!

So, if January 1st is a day from Monday to Thursday, it is in week 01. If it is a Friday, Saturday or Sunday then it belongs to the last week (52nd or 53rd) of the previous year. In the manufacturing companies, especially in Europe, the week of the year i...

Thanks, I thought it may have been a European thing.

In the US i think business is conducted more in the "quarters". First quarter, second quarter etc. more in line with the stock market.

They make some really compelling watches...

...but I would be willing to pay extra to get rid of the double-g tail on the seconds hand. It drives me crazy : )

Very unique and cool complication! Cheers

The complocations make it an interesting piece but the watch itself is very attraktive. My favourite GO!
