lug size of PI and Chronometer
hello- owners or others who are informed about both lug size.
Since both are 42mm I wonder if they also share the same lug size? Thus are their straps interchangable?
I am also aware of the no-gap lug-strap mechanism of the Chronometer but that doesn't preclude us from fitting, say the grey nubcuk of PI to it, am I right?

Don't think so...
I own both. The chronometer has a integrated strap and you can actually put a normal 22 mm strap on but it has indents in the case so it is not as nice as the strap that was made for the chronometer. I have actually tried a 22 mm strap, it is possible but...

I am aware of the proprietary strap and the lug/strap tends to extend beyond my small wrist when i try it on at the AD. I was thinking if i should forgo the wonderful design and go after a 22mm replacement for better comfort. joseph

I ordered the short strap for my chronometer and even that was too long and left the deployment buckle in an odd spot. I actually made the short part of the strap shorter myself and now it fits perfectly. The integrated strap does look best, but like I sa...

LOL hard work and a lot of practice in sewing and glueing
Only recommended if tried before...Since straps are often too large for me and it is not always possible to get a shorter one, I have started experimenting with shortening straps myself...
yes the Pano XL comes with 20mm strap
Thanks and I just check out from an AD and yes the Pano XL comes with 20mm strap! Would it be great to have a 22mm strap taper down to 19 or 16 for such a big watch head...or you found it perfect?
