One of Glashutte’s finest

We aren’t but six years away from celebrating this model’s 25th - wow!!

Count-up / countdown alarm remains an untapped complication. For good reason, but IMHO the Panomatic counter has the answer.

Biggest drawback with this model was the countdown time had to be set through the crown. So it was more of a technical showcase than a practical complication. If we could add two small buttons on left side and the appropriate blocking mechanisms - to stop the owner who is testing edge cases from damaging the watch, we’d have a killer watch. Now the only problem is the price!

Here is a picture borrowed to Antiquorum. 150 pieces in white gold. One of the most original chronograph, rarely mentioned when we discuss fine chronos... Not fair! Best, Nicolas ...

You are so right.

This is an unique Chronograph and certainly one of the hallmark G.O. since the early 90ies. And the best thing is: They are appearing on the second hand market now at price tags that one or the other might be able to consider. Best , Martin

I really like this watch!
