Glashutte Original Senator Cosmopolite, 2018 Steel Edition. some thoughts.

Finally, I could see the Senator Cosmopolite in the reality. It is one of these watches which I seriously wanted to see, because I like the concept of this Travel Watch a lot, as well as its look, but I was afraid it was a bit too big for my taste. All th...

Yes I do, but a SS Chronometer have been more interesting for me I guess.

The Cosmopolite is loaded with functions and is a little more to show what can be done. There is a little too much going on at the dial IMHO but it's a really cool watch for a traveler.

It's in my dreams and that was a SS PanoInverse too

so maybe I will tell about my dreams again to the right people. LOLOL

It is actually the "new Senator Kalenderwoche" watch

The Cosmopolite is a typical GO of top level mechanics : 470 parts, and all for the sake of accurate time zones, without any compromise. The Kalenderwoche, also with nearly 500 parts, is quite comperable to this one. Back to the Cosmopolite: best offering...

At place vendome A few hours before we met the last time. And I also liked it a lot before I had it in. It’s really thick and heavy. In the end I found the setting the watch to be over complicated. So much that the lady didn’t even know how to explain ( w...

Its not over complicated😄

Prior to using the watch for the first time, the new owner needs to implement the following basic settings. He determines where the home base of his timepiece is: For this, it is necessary to set the home time, synchronize the destination time and select ...

after a few days of wesring it will feels great. About the height so is it very hard to get it thinner with all those complications.

The funny thing is

This watch is not higher than a Sea Dweller. That says something about it.

You can’t get it all. :-))))) [nt]

I think that the Cosmopolite is a bit of mechanical marvel -- particularly because it can keep track of time zones with offsets of 1/2 hour or 45 minutes. On the SS version, I really do miss the burst of color on the day/night indicator. If GO had kept th...
