Power colours from the Seventies
Glashütte Original presents two new limited editions of its Vintage Chronograph

“Vibing Orange” and “Disco Blue” – the names of the new Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date models say it all. The two limited editions prove to be ideal companions for short nights and hot summer days. Their dials in lush orange or sky blue take up the electrifying style of the 1970s and lift everyone’s spirits instantly.

The two new models, both of which are produced in limited editions of only 100 pieces, are available from July 21 in all Glashütte Original Boutiques and from authorized retailers worldwide.

A vintage-look favourite of watch fans
The design is inspired by the trends of the eponymous decade, and new versions continue to add colour to the line. The latest entries add a new chapter to this success story. With dials in “Disco Blue” and “Vibing Orange”, the new Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date models are real eye-catchers.

Funky Colours
Light blue stands for freedom and light-heartedness, while orange exudes zest for life and jollity. Both light the desire not just for short nights, but for long summer days as well: they evoke sunsets and swimming pools, bright blue skies and exotic cocktails – with every glance at the time.

Unmistakable lines and shapes
No changes have been made to the gently rounded corners and dynamic lines of the 40 x 40 mm stainless steel case, a size fit for every wrist. The striking forms and shiny accents are perfectly complemented by two different straps: pure stainless steel and matt black rubber.

The rhythm of the Seventies
Ticking within this chronograph is the manufactory’s Calibre 37-02 with automatic movement, 70 hours power reserve and water resistance up to 10 bar. In general, this mechanical work of art with flyback chronograph is exceptionally suited for everyday use. The eminently legible Panorama Date, one of the watchmaker’s signature features, never tires of reminding the wearer to make good use of the day.

Proud to be the Original. #PTBTO

I’m not convinced by either colour scheme

The Tiffany blue is getting to be a bit much for me. I do however like layout of this dial. A nice discreet power reserve and what I’m assuming is an hour indicator under the logo? The big date looks good too.
