Need to pay more attention to GO…
Nov 21, 2024,15:22 PM
I’ll admit, other than current catalog stuff, I don’t have much of a foundational knowledge in GO timepieces. I have always loved their chronometer pieces, however, at 42 and not 40mm they weren’t for me. The pano series obviously has some winters, and the seaQ 39.5 may actually be on my wrist someday (love everything about it except I told myself my next “tool” watch would have some other materials - Ti, ceramic, etc).
My other interest right now is finding a platinum watch (VC tradionelle 38 mm where art thou). On my searching I came across a few back catelog references that are just phenomenal. The black dial , big date, platinum, 39mm. Just a well rounded piece. Maybe would want manual here, but auto not an issue.

How about this tourbillon, I’m blown away. I love the dial, the retrograde hours, the guilloche, the engraving on the movement. A lovely platinum package at 40m. Just a nice classy piece. I think some of the modern GO models have gotten a little busy on the dial side, whereas these are spot on (for me).
Just wanted to show some cool oldies.
